Re: Dream Job With GM, Inverter Electrical Design

good job now dig up for us some schematic to fix the broken DC/DC from Gregski :) Well, i saw Ampera DCDC was designed by TDK. I dont know who designed Volt DCDC unit. Its the same them i guess. No clue if GM would have the designs anyway it was more of a joke/dreaming out loud then that i think so...

Next stop: is the sensors of the Tesla AC system. They are temperature and pressure in one housing. I will make a look up table for each sensor (black one and green?!? one). My idea is to use my IO module (or a new design based on it) for controlling the AC pump, the waterpumps , valves and reading ...

Re: I think I CAN, I think I CAN...

You might consider using a cheapo ali express adjustable power supply with current and voltage regulation. Now i know they often max out at 60Volts and 5Amps but 60Volts is anough to check if your polarity is correct or wrong without damaging to much or playing with uncontrolled power. What i do is ...

Re: i3 controller hacking from diyelectriccar.com

It depends on the composition of the casting and the settings of your equipment. @scott any markings on the parts about it's material? I did the rear Alloy subframe with TIG; Try a high Silicium Rodd and AC Balance of 60% and clean/brush your weld mega clean before you start. If the blankingplate is...

Ok, i made a handy tool to convert DBC files / sections into user (programmers) classes. 8-) 8-) 8-) The philosophy was that we are tinkerers so we have many DBC files, but when we want to construct the canbus messages we fall into a bad coding pattern is my experience. Its often hard to read and we...

Re: i3 controller hacking from diyelectriccar.com

Yes! That's what I meant! Now for the coolant you could make two plates 12mm thick to cover up the holes and if you need to bridge/ make a passage you add two tube barbs (90 degress knee) and a piece of hose in between. The welding is best using TIG since it's casting you need a balance of like 60% ...

Well that's exactly what this device can do.
Communicate the voltages per Cell and let you activate balancing per Cell.

Re: Model 3 High Voltage Controller

The Model 3 works by taking your 12V input and using a DC/DC converter to "precharge" by literally generating the full pack voltage from 12V. I don't entirely know why they did that, probably so they don't need a precharge resistor. Probably because they didn't like using a precharge R. w...

Re: SDU wiring Brake Transolver [SOLVED]

ok the brake input is an analog input to know how "hard" you are pressing the brake pedal.

Its not mandatory and config dependant but if you can generate this signal it will mean that regen is applied in accordance with that signal.

Re: Subaru Impreza 96 - AWD with 2 Outlander rear motors

Brakeing is done with a servo, electric motor, assisted master cylinder. So your ABS can stay. It's the vacuum servo etc. what can go.
