Re: Combined CAN and Serial boot loader

The boot loader uses the internal oscillator you want to write a bootloader based on template? Or your app? The app you can of course modify to 25 MHz. It's just important that the core frequency remains at 72 MHz because CAN relies on it. But as far as I remember from the Olimex proto board that is...

Re: Combined CAN and Serial boot loader

Yes. Just have to pay attention to use the correct UART and CAN perhaps with the correct pin remap

Re: QCA7000 Foccci+Clara User thread

Your fix just for DC? Does the AC current values drop to zero too? AC values are not session based but continuously updated. E.g. EvseAcCurrentLimit will drop to 0 instantly when PWM goes below 8% or above 97% The PP resistance measurement is disturbed via the path R64 (1k to 12V), D21, PP_WAKE, JP...

Re: Flying ADC 16 channel BMS 96S test

Got the modules on the table now. So far I've established that module 2 and 5 had a shorted mosfet on channel 0. That's how they became hot and that's why they only displayed something meaningful on the first channel because all the others were shorted out. On module #3 the mosfets seem fine but it ...

Re: Chasing down id oscillation

I don't know, I'm thinking it's because the anti-pattern doesn't fit perfectly so there is still some of the original oscillation left. Or do you mean there is a hull curve around the HF pattern? On a side node the project now build again and we have binaries: https://github.com/jsphuebner/stm32-sin...

Which version software? The more recent ones take 1 as a multiplier for unity gain, no longer 32

Re: (SDU, OI board) control of derating via CAN, from BMS

You can map idcmin and idcmax to receive via CAN. On the newer web interface this is possible via gui, on the older on you'll need a custom command like

Code: Select all

can rx idcmax 100 0 16 1
But of course the same is possible with SDO

Re: Question about 12 Volt "starter" Battery (Please move if incorrect)

Rigged up a first cut of my hopefully next 12V battery. Those a 60 Ah NMC cells weighing about 1 kg each. I put some plastic in between them because you shouldn't trust that thin protection foil for electrical isolation. Currently charging it with a cheesy "2A" buck converter that works al...

Re: General Newbe Questions

It's quite individual with wifi reception. Yes it is generally poor if the module sits in a metal enclosure but it can still be workable. For example in the Nissan inverter it is usable in Tesla inverters it is not. In my VW ECU case it tripped my annoyance threshold and I mounted it outside, bringi...

That sounds worrying to me with my PP only wakeup. Kempower isn't common around here. Have you measured their PP with a multimeter?

Re: Chasing down id oscillation

So I'm doing some experiments on this. Here we have the amplitude of il2 about 20% lower than il1. image.png This also creates a 2nd order harmonic but it is sinusoidal. Same result when il1 has lower amplitude than il2. Here we have a periodic disturbance on just il1: image.png This causes dips in ...

Yes try that and if it doesn't help set dirmode=DefaultForward

Keep the other parameters as instructed until you succeed.

Re: 2008 Nissan Quest Van with Tesla SDU.

So to my dismay tmphsmax is still at 85°C. I told you to set it to 110 to disable the derating. But maybe that isn't the problem. In cmd-T.txt din_forward=0 so no direction selected. In cmd-T2.txt it is 1, so forward selected. Could it be that your forward signal is unstable? This would explain why ...

Re: Chasing down id oscillation

I only marginally understand what is being discussed here. Is this problem only with the EM57 motor or with all permanent magnet motors and are sine wave motors not affected? From the papers I've read this seems present in all PM motors. Is this noise issue just new or was it ever present or did it...

Re: 2008 Nissan Quest Van with Tesla SDU.

THROTTLE1 means the throttle calibration is off. Have you read and done this? https://openinverter.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5075 The 5.35.R firmware requires it. You can also revert to 5.32 to skip this for now EDIT: it's also helpful if you try to pull a json dump in the respective situation. Like...

Re: [FIRST DRIVE]Something on the wheels.

5.35 no longer accepts pedals that max out the ADC dynamic range. So you have to put a 3-10k resistor inline with the pedal and recalibrate.

Asymmetric behaviour is usually down to wrong pinswap: viewtopic.php?p=63807#p63807

I take it that blue is id and red is il1? (Include the labels in your screenshot) So same situation like mine, unsurprisingly. Are you running the EM57 as well? I'm trying to write some code today that tries to quantize the cogging in phase and amplitude and then counteract with ud in feed-forward f...
