Hi,
This is my first post here and I hope a simple one. Not to much in depth in electronics but I wanted to use Foccci as my charge controller for DC-DC charging. But to do so I need to communicate with Foccci and therefore I added the ESP32 Can Wifi module. I was under the impression it works 'out of the box' so add 12v and can lines and a WiFi network should appear.
Reality:
The board gets warm (not hot, warm), but no lights (should there be any lights) and no WiFi. What am I doing wrong here? I put a 24v to 12v converter to alter the 24v board system (it's a light truck) and yes plus 12v is in the right position and the gnd as well. I measure 12.0v so that should be good.
Hop someone knows what I'm doing wrong. I've added a photo of the board in active state (so powered with 12v)
