Re: Simp BMS
Please give me the exact firmware number you are using. I have not heard of this issue from anyone else so this sounds quite like a specific problem to you and your setup. You are using the provided .hex to flash the firmware right?

Re: Simp BMS
Wait you change to which version and the Tesla comms are stable? That is not really logical as the base level software for the comms has not changed since the start.alexbeatle wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 10:21 pm I went back to the firmware revision with which my BMS arrived

Re: Simp BMS
So clearly EMI from the HV. Your wiring twisted as per OEM tesla? are the runs as short as possible? Are the runs not parallel with HV cables/busbars?

Re: Simp BMS
Impressive, what happens when you power the board via 12V? as your usb might be power limited and you are running 14 modules with not short cable runs.
Also is the code unmodified?

Re: Simp BMS
Yes, that would be the only difference between a not turning and a turning motor. The HV current created EMI.

The slave modules are known for being shitty and prone to issues. Also the celltaps on the modules can get corroded.

Re: Zombie gives no power to Inverter pin
It is a LS (low side) or a pull to ground pin.
So you need to wire it as such, 12V to the relay other side to the pin.

Looks like potnom oscillates at the same time? So software based issue and the inverter is just doing as commanded? No these are just symptoms, alot of testing has been done. The issue is the IS300h and GS450h have a quite a bit of slop/delay in things. This creates all sorts of havoc on tuning reg...

Re: Zombie not going into Run mode
So if you switch the pin states while plotting them do you see them hang?
It sounds like you might have broken something or JLCPCB manufacturing errors are causing all sorts of hick ups.
