2020 Leaf Motor: Which connector is which?
I'm planning on using a Zombieverter with a used 110kW Leaf motor, 2020. PDU Model 292C0 5SA1B (A3 ?), EM57 316386Z
On the https://openinverter.org/wiki/Leaf_stac ... ombiverter page, it shows several connector pinouts for the Leaf Motor - which I can't see how they match with what I see on my motor.
I can identify the 12v +/-, J1772, Pack, CHaDemo connectors.
I don't see how the other connectors correspond to F13, F14, and F18. ( 2 big round ones on my motor, and several small ones.) I can't seem to find any source for a 2020 Leaf Service manual either.

F14 is the resolver connector on the motor can, near the coolant lines.
The others are different because the wiki is showing connectors for a gen2 system and you have gen3. The round one connecting to the inverter is the equivalent to the rectangular one (F13) on the wiki.

Ahh, fun. Anyone have the pinouts for a Gen3 set of connectors?

Make sure you're looking at the connections from the right direction.
Delete the .txt at the end, it's a pdf.

The pictures WiKi show Leaf 80 kW, you have Leaf 110 kW, it has different connectors and different can traffic.

All generations work with the Zombie Verter.
Here is an example of the 160kw, same connector also gen 3 working with Zombie Verter. viewtopic.php?t=4322

Tom, I've tested what I call a gen4 Leaf stack (2023 onwards with a Toyota PDM) with a Zombieverter and there was no response of any kind. I took a CAN log, could you take a look?

Re: 2020 Leaf Motor: Which connector is which?
The problem is not with the engine but with the operation of the PDM (this is a DC-DC block, charging, and the absence of a full CHaDemo)
In LEAF 110-160KW CHaDemo is implemented in the VCM block, in the PDM there are only power relays and a CHaDemo voltage sensor.

Okay then please make a topic on this will all relevant info, this way this can be looked at how to support it within the zombie code base.Marat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 12:13 pm The problem is not with the engine but with the operation of the PDM (this is a DC-DC block, charging, and the absence of a full CHaDemo)
