Re: Peugeot Bosch SMG 180/120 with Gen 2 inverter [SOLVED]

Yes you have fwcurmax=-100 so it will do field weakening. FW current always creates a little bit of torque and with an unloaded motor that results in it not spinning down. Will go away once the motor is loaded. Find out lqminusld . No guide for this yet, it is scattered, e.g. here https://openinvert...

Re: Peugeot Bosch SMG 180/120 with Gen 2 inverter [SOLVED]

Post your parameters.
I suppose you activated field weakening. On an unloaded motor the residual torque can cause what you observe

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

That sounds reasonable.

Only other issue I had with CP triggers was noise pickup. As in EMI from inverter while driving or something

EDIT: difference to PP trigger: I kept input impedance very high (100k or so) so it doesn't skew the PWM signal

Re: Am I to dumb for Open Inverter

There is a wiki page just for the board, though it is also outdated and shows an oder version that needed you to populate much more components https://openinverter.org/wiki/Nissan_Leaf_Gen2_Board I assume you have the latest version that just requires fitting the connectors and one optional CAN term...

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

That user-input button is, in my mind, one of several wake-up triggers for foccci. Yes also thought about this. I would require the same modification as for PP - pull up the button to permanent 12V instead of 3.3V On other news I ordered some boards along with other stuff and JLC complain about via...

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

Too small footprint is not good, too large usually works :) Have added the part number locally, probably didn't commit No idea how remote controls exactly operate in the car and whether there is a "wakeup bus" that you could tap into. In Touran the interior lights switch on when you unlock...

Was your Webasto heater from a Volvo Can't figure that one out, the customer had bought it off ebay When you were running your testing, were you just grounding the post on the outside of the heater with no other wires into the heater being grounded? Yes Do you recall your input voltage while testin...

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

Then again, of course, just using a series capacitor in line with the PP wakeup signal probably works just fine Yes it just needs to bias the CJ431 reference input long enough for the uC to run through the boot loader and enable the KEEP_POWER_ON pin. If the PP pullup is at 12V, and the 12V is vari...

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

"24=" for the hand-populated boards, or "H24" for the jlc populated boards. Fortunately I took a photo of the board. They are 24= Makes me wonder where my Tesla issues came from. The wrong PP voltage perhaps, at least that's what cured it. 1. Where does the pull-up of the PP get...

Re: Develop a QCA7000 board?

I have finished up the schematic for full wakeup functionality I have added a bidirectional WAKEUP signal to B7. When pulled high it will turn on the 5V reg and thereby the controller. The uC on the other hand can pull high the wakeup signal itself (TRIGGER_WAKEUP) e.g. when woken via PP. The P-MOS ...

Re: Inverter Firmware 5.32.R

No, not with this version. With the next release I will add a cyclic counter that satisfies the control message requirement. CRC checking can be turned off on the receiving side.
For now you can stick with version 5.27.R on the receiving side to retain the functionality

Re: Webasto HVH50

According to post 16 on page 1 no interlock is required, but it is easy enough to try, just jumper the interlock pins on the HV connector The interlock pins are just shorted internally and pass on whichever signal from one interlock pin to the other. No "intelligence" is connected to them...

Two ways: a) hard code them into main().
