i modified mine to use a external bms, very time consuming and expensive.

In my previous project (peugeot 106) i used the original boxes + 1 instead of gas tank.
Now like you i will make new boxes and i never saw a cooling plate glued like that, what glue did you use?
I am sad i didn't get the 208 battery modules, my taycan modules were very hard and expensive to modify ...

Battery modules are laser welded and done after modification from internal bms to external bms with internal fuses.

i am looking for a solution to control the analog instrument cluster using the can signals from the oem nissan vcu.

soldering is easy, desoldering was not a joke with the small window i almost destroyed the battery because the heat
travelled through the aluminium tape that i used to protect the cells.
That is why i had to cut the complete side and it was very easy.
The board is just a little easyeda pin to pin ...

Your bms is perfect for most applications but i don't think it's good for my specific case.

openinverter will not control the leaf charger.
ZombieVerter will work with your bms and leaf charger but no leaf power steering and power brakes.

And also i'm in Poortugal we don't really swim in money ...

Full Nissan Leaf, a complete car for parts so i'll be putting wiring, power steering, everything if i can.
