I'm updating my old F250 conversion to use a Leaf motor. Bought the Zombieverter about 18 months ago - then life intervened....
Now getting back to work on things.
The Wiki shows what connections go to which pins of various connectors - my problem is figuring out WHICH connectors on the EM57 ...

Re: Leaf charging vs dual string pack
A) has the issue that if something does fail - you are likely to cause a fire.
B) is probably what I'm going to go with - in combination with my Orion BMS. If the BMS detects one or more cells that are WAY too low, I'll have it drop the contactor for that pack. Not an optimal solution, but at least ...

Re: Leaf charging vs dual string pack
Well, that is a non-answer.
For the Leaf drive to USE both packs, simultaneously, they will need to be connected in parallel while driving, and charging.
This means that the measured pack voltage is guaranteed to be the same on both - as they are tied directly together.

Zombieverter/Leaf - which pedal to use?
I'm setting up a Leaf motor (2020 EM57) with Zombieverter for my truck.
Which accelerator pedal should I get/use?
Does it have to be from a Leaf?

Leaf charging vs dual string pack
So, my truck that I plan on using the Zombieverter/Leaf motor combo in, has an unusual battery pack setup.
It has 2, 350v (identical) packs in parallel, each with it's own Orion BMS.
To make sure they play together safely, they are diode isolated from each other.

Ok thanks. That doesn't appear to be one of the videos that is on the wiki page.
I admit, that even if I had seen a link to it - I wouldn't have watched it.

Zombieverter WifI pin headers
Ok, my Zombieverter board has arrived.
The only soldering needed appears to be the pin-headers for the wifi board.
3 different sets were supplied.
1) standard pin header
2) socket header
3) Extended pin socket header.
I haven't found any docs on which set to use, so I'm making a guess...

Documentation for Leaf Canbus messages?
I'd like to add data from the Leaf Motor and Zombieverter to my display system.
It seems like there should be a list of what Canbus messages come from the Leaf Inverter (and VCU) around somewhere.
My searches have failed to find one.
Could someone point me to the relevant documentation?

Looking for UI/Display to use with Zombieverter
I'm updating my old F250 EV Conversion using a Leaf motor and Zombieverter.
Are there any display systems that show you things like RPM, Temperature, Amps, Volts, Regen, etc...
I had a nice one I wrote for my old Zilla 2K - but I'm hoping one already exists for a Leaf motor/inverter setup.

Thanks! That may be good enough. I'll go verify it with my motor, and figure out which holes were threaded and which weren't.

Re: Looking for EM57 Mechanical Drawings
When I searched for SDLPRT, one of the sites listed it as a MS proprietary format.
Ok, if I get Oneshape - is it possible to have it fill in ALL the relevant measurements, or is that a semi-manual process?

Yes, it would, and I had found those, though the only files found there are SDLPRT files which are some sort of Microsoft Proprietary format.
I did finally find a tool that can view it - but not being a Solid Works user, I have no idea how to even SEE the dimensions and locations of the holes.

Looking for EM57 Mechanical Drawings
I have a friend at a local Machine Shop that can make the adapter plate I need.
What we need is the Mechanical Drawings for mounting to the motor.
(Yes, it would be possible to measure the motor - but less accurate and FAR more time consuming.)
Anyone have a the drawings needed?

The old motors in the truck I converted (95 For F250) have failed. So rather than paying a LOT of money to fix the old DC motors, I'm planning on trying to use a Leaf motor. (yeah, less max power, but should be usable.) With the old motors, the truck cruised at about 30kW at 55 mph.

Has anyone figured out how to enable the J1772 charger for a Gen2 Leaf system?
I just bought a 110kW unit, and it has the J1772 inlet - with all the wires going to the big box on top of the motor. I'm assuming that the charger must be integrated with the controller.
