I think before I made another set up I’d try you current one with an aluminium donut you don’t need the movement the rubber provides

Ok so UJs are not a constant velocity joint and if the gearbox flange and diff flange aren’t square to each other, so that the angle of each uj cancels the other out you can create a vibration, also can’t see your entire prop shaft there but is it correctly phased? the yokes at each end of the prop ...

Obviously pre Crc I would just map the throttle pots across can, not sure I understand if the added uptime counter makes this possible or not?

Great work Greg! I don’t generally like taking my bmw modules below 3.4v cell I start getting big deltas under load if I do, so what’s the max battery current you’ve seen pulled? Maybe log idc and udc and go full throttle so we can work out how many kw you’ve managed to extract from the Prius!

Great work in finding the culprit guys! Interestingly I can get a harsh juddering if one motors inverter restarts due to over current and restarts whilst moving I put this down to a sync error being introduced somehow by restarting in motion, (totally different setup though so unrelated)

Could a non linear throttle ramp could be helpful giving finer control of light throttle

Cool, yes make sense I get a similar effect at very low rpm pulling away, if you don’t accelerate through it you can set up an oscillation though the drivetrain

Just set temperature de rating in software as high as possible, the hardware is smart enough to over temperature derate

Looks like every example I can find of sine parameters sets resolver pole pairs to 1

You could just scope the encoder output and count the number of pulses through 1 revolution, not sure what to set resolver pole pairs to when using an encoder.

64 pulses per revolution

Change numimp to 64

What are the specs of your encoder?

You may require slightly different gains thanks to less than identical component layout? (Just guessing) I’d verify with a current clamp.
