BMW i3 LIM voltage measuring board
I am selling boards that are required to operate a BMW LIM for DC charging. It measures the voltage at the charge port and provides it to the LIM. 5V are required for operation. e.g. from the Arduino or another controller for the AC charger. The measuring voltage is isolated up to 2000V! On the HV side, a cable with eyelets can be soldered, which are screwed to the contactors, on the LV side soldered cables or a Molex connector can be used. The board is then inserted into the supplied shrink tub. Dimensions 14mm x 64mm

Re: BMW i3 LIM voltage measuring board
I'm thinking what are the other use cases for this board. What's the signal like?

Re: BMW i3 LIM voltage measuring board
Based on the isolated amplifier AMC3302DWE from Texas Instruments, it outputs an low impedance analog voltage between 1.42V and 4.8V corresponding to the input voltage of 0V-500V. Isolation is over 2000V, power supply is only required on the low voltage side.

From another thread:

Re: BMW i3 LIM voltage measuring board
Hi there, I am starting to work on two LIMs that support ISO15118 (inlcuding 0V-1000V -500A-+500A new power limitation)muehlpower wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 10:48 am Based on the isolated amplifier AMC3302DWE from Texas Instruments, it outputs an low impedance analog voltage between 1.42V and 4.8V corresponding to the input voltage of 0V-500V. and I am guessing how should work the HV sense board on a LIM setup with this new voltage range ?
My project is about a bidirectional & mobile power vault that would go up to 920VDC (up to 220S4P LMO cells with 460KW peak charging power)
Thank you in advance !

Hi,
I am interested in purchasing one of these boards. Do you send us a paypal link, or how would we go about paying you?

It's possible, as you have only one post on OI so far, that you do not yet have PM capabilities.
Lars has a similar board available. See the Wiki for a link: https://openinverter.org/wiki/BMW_I3_Fast_Charging_LIM_Module#Isolated_DC_charge_inlet_voltage_sense_board

Ah, I see Lars' are out of stock

Re: BMW i3 LIM voltage measuring board
I still have enough boards. You can also contact me through my company if PM doesn't work.

Re: BMW i3 LIM voltage measuring board
I have one of muehlpower's units, and no longer need it. USD$50 including carriage within the US; add actual postage cost for outside the US.
Re: BMW i3 LIM voltage measuring board
I would like to purchase it. I’m new to the forum so I can’t private message you yet. Please send me a PM and I’ll provide details for the PayPal invoice.
And can I ask why you no longer need it? Did you find another CCS solution?

Re: BMW i3 LIM voltage measuring board
I'm planning to implement an AR7420/QCA700x PLC CCS setup, rather than a BMW i3 LIM setup.

Re: BMW i3 LIM voltage measuring board
I'm hanging on to mine for a bit, as it's possible that an upcoming QCA700x board may be able to use this sensing board.

Re: BMW i3 LIM voltage measuring board
I PM'd Guy but he has never read the PM (sits in Outbox). If you read this, Guy, I didn't ignore you, but in any event my board is no longer available.
