Re: [WIP] Jeep 2ML70 Conversion
I'll have to make another video because I don't think people really understand what I'm asking. There will be a torque dampener attached to the input shaft. The dampener will be secured in place so it can't rotate. If it's always attached to MG1 then I can't use MG1 at all. I need to put the input ...

Re: [WIP] Jeep 2ML70 Conversion
I was able to get the thing spinning on the bench, but I've got an issue with the input shaft spinning. I need a way to stop the input shaft from spinning and to seperate it from the MG1 motor. It apears that they are locked together by a sun gear. I have an idea, but I feel like others might know ...

Re: [WIP] Jeep 2ML70 Conversion
A little bit of information.
The HVH has 5 pole pairs and it apears that it may have mutliple resolver poles as well. Still investigating.
THe HVH250 uses delphi connectors for the resolver connections. This isn't typically exposed outside the transmission, but I have a motor sitting on the bench ...

Re: PWM in, PWM out (no Sine wave) Please Help [SOLVED]
I did two of the three recommendations and this is the result. Seems more like what I would expect. I hooked the outputs to the motor with no change in the output waveform or current draw (which was 0.01 A). The voltage supply was set to 15V.

PWM in, PWM out (no Sine wave) Please Help [SOLVED]
I'm using the Dual Motor Board connected to a 30V supply through a 10ohm resistor. The output isn't connected to a load. I'm measuring the output on my oscilloscope between the motor outputs and the HV battery negative. I'm not getting a sin wave. I'm getting a PWM output, but the duty cycle pulses ...

Re: Gen3 Prius- PWM present but motor not turning
Did you ever figure this out? I'm having a similar issue. I just get an amplified version of the PWM signal coming from the three output of MG2.
I've got 30v going into the HV battery lugs and I'm using the dual motor board (like you). The angle does change and the duty cycle oscillates. I created ...

Re: NO PWM on my Dual Motor Board
When I hook up my 30V powre source to the HV connection, I get an amplified 30V PWM signal out. Did I destroy my inveter by not using a pre-charge resistor the first time I did this? I originally connected 30V to the normal input, but now i'm using the inputs on the back without the boost converter ...

Re: NO PWM on my Dual Motor Board
I was able to get the PWM output for MG2 by updating the firmware and fiddling with the parameters a little more. I attached my working parameter file
MG2 PWM output still doesn't work.
I'm getting HICUROFS2 and HICUROFS1 errors. I assume this is caused by the higher voltage on C47 and C48, but ...

I've been struggling with this for weeks now. I've added some missing components including the entire -5V power section and the fault logic IC.

Re: Prius Dual Motor Controller Wifi Not Working
I assumed it was the Lack of the inductors L5 and L6 that were causing the poor vcc voltage to the wifi modules. I tried the modules that came with the board and they didn't power up either. I like the Olimex form factor, so I ordered them seperately. These Olimex boards seem different than the ...

Prius Dual Motor Controller Wifi Not Working
I purchased and programmed a couple of the Olimex Wifi modules, but they didn't work. I could connect to one of the modules when I supplied it with bench power. The in circuit power votlage was down around 0.7 volts on pin 1, but the power supply was putting out a stable 3.25V. I check my solder ...

Re: Chevy Volt Inverter Still Used?
I had 5 made. They just arrived. I'm trying to find some connectors, because I prefer not to reuse the old ones. If I get the board working, I might be willing to sell a couple of the remaining board to recoup some of my cost.

Is anyone using Chevy volt inverters in new builds? If not what it the alternative for a programmable inverter based on OEM hardware? Is that not a thing anymore?
The replacement main boards aren't for sale anywhere. Is anyone getting some made?

Yes! The Volt Inverter was my original plan, but I switched. The toyota inverters are very common in the junk yards around here, so I'm a little disappointed. Its not a huge deal, because I have all three inverters (Tahoe, Volt, and Prius) sitting around here.

Thanks. You saved me from a lot of future frustration. I beleive the ratio is 1 to 1. I see a couple of options:
1. Use a Gen 3 Prius Controller Board
2. Hack the Tahoe's Inverter, such that I can control it.
#1
Cons:Costs ~$350
Pros: Known setup and control process. Still need to VCU, which I ...

Does anyone have a source for a transmission agnostic electric oil pump? Am I wrong in thinking that these hybrid transmissions could using an external pump as apposed to their OEM pump? I just need to close off the opening where the OEM pump attached.
