Overview[1]
PTC heater assembly found in VW ID series (ID.3, ID,4, ID.Buzz, etc.), as well as other VAG EVs (Seat, Skoda, Audi, etc).
- According to VW, the nominal voltage is 150 to 475V, but findings suggest it’s usable from 180VDC.
- It is made by Valeo and has a operational range between 0 and 6kW.

Or it can be salvaged at a junk yard from these part numbers:
- VW 1EA 973 702 X (The connector itself. Note: The 5119B variant fits the PTC perfectly unlike 3220B that requires some minor modifications)
- VW 1EA 971 475 B (A HV cable that connects to the PTC Heater. It uses the correct 5119B variant)
