Nice project. I also have a 1930 Ford. Yours appears to be a coupe. With the Mustang II front axle and the height of the frame, I assume it will be a full fender. Do you drive with a hood? Then you have enough space for the battery, and without a cardan shaft, there is also space for a few modules between the frame tubes. Do you have a seat or trunk in the back?

I will have fenders and a hood. I would like it to look as stock as possible. The car has a trunk in the back I would like to keep the weight as far back as I can with luck it will wheelie. I'm going to pick up the body in Florida next week and once I get it on the frame I will know more. I would love to see more pics of your car.

I'll just note that in my '40 Chevy, I have nearly all the weight in the rear, with a Sport LDU, and it trips an overcurrent safety before pulling the front wheels. It gets really light in the nose, but the instantaneous load/amp draw seems to make things unhappy. I'm working on the tune still so maybe in the future I'll find a way to get full power and no trips and resulting wheels up action, but at least so far, I'd say wheelies seem to be a bit of a challenge.

This begets the question, where are you located? I'm in Raleigh.
If at first you don't succeed, buy a bigger hammer.

Here's some links.

I didn't do a great job with photos in the build thread, but there are a lot on Instagram. And I really only started the Youtube stuff when I was upgrading the car, but there's good stuff from Drag Week.
