Re: Zombieverter Outlander charger CP Spoofing

My sentiments exactly!

Now back to Cp signal. What keeps you from using the signal is not incorrect PWM pull in signal. It is the resistance equivalent. When one charger is connected to Cp its internal circuit would pull 12V Cp signal in resulting in 9V line voltage which starts the EVSE.
In your ...

Re: Zombieverter Outlander charger CP Spoofing

If you are not using one of the charging interfaces then why not just connect CP directly to the charger? In that case the cp spoof is not needed. As you have found CP_PWM does not work as Damien described in the video, setting it to a specific value is ignored as the line of code that would use ...

Zombieverter Outlander charger CP Spoofing

First. Thanks you for an amazing 2.20A release. My car is now smooth as butter (e39 running GS450h transmission)

I have a question about CP spoofing the outlander charger. I used to use the arduino due for charge control but switched to the Zombieverter now.
I don't have an i3LIM or CPC. I select ...

That seems to be working mostly, the bus voltage is about x2 what it should be
Yes that's your data.

To test if the speed is coming into the ZombieVerter correctly, try and write it to the temperature

Do you connect MTH- to ground and MTH+ to channel 0 when capturing the data on the analyser?

Hi Jamie

The data seems to be corrupted.

With my cheap logic analyser, it only worked properly if I capture one channel at a time. MTH example below

Re: [DRIVING] BMW e39 IS300h inverter GS450h Transmission

When I started building the car I couldn't find any BMW HV battery modules in Perth Australia
I decided to make my own battery pack.
I ended up with 85 x 65Ah NMC cells from Alibaba
For BMS I used DIYBMS the open source project by Stuart Pittaway.
This was by far the most difficult part of the ...

Re: [DRIVING] BMW Z3 [FINISHED]

I found a workaround for the juddering that I was experiencing. I did a 30km test run at between 80 and 110km/h.

I logged the serial data going to the inverter (HTM) and noticed that the inverter is re-initialised when the juddering occurs. I assume the checksum ==0 because of noise on the line ...

Re: [DRIVING] BMW Z3 [FINISHED]

Hi Andy. I have some data to support your findings.
I'm using a gs300h inverter with a gs450h transmission. Zombieverter using GS300h settings. Voltage around 330V
When holding the speed constant and mg2 speed is around 3500rpm, after a few seconds I get juddering.

Re: is300h inverter with gs450h gearbox (running)

I'm using a is300h inverter with a gs450h gearbox.
I've driven about 120km so it works. But I'm having some issues. (This is my 1st conversion so likely wiring issues :) )

I can only get 125 amps from MG2. 320V
I can't go faster than 85km/h (4000rpm) then it's like a rev limiter kicks in.

I'll ...

What is your differential ratio, And wheel diameter please

I also get the odd -27.71degC temp reading. Did you get to the bottom of this?

To be honest I can't recall if it started working. I switched to a 300h inverter because I couldn't get the jerking to stop. But I believe now it wasn't a Camry inverter issue

I hope to revisit the Camry in the next ...

Re: [WIP] BMW Z3 [FINISHED]

As far as I can tell the bodge in lastest release is only in the prius inverter for some reason. Having looked at several posts here and on discord it appears that the temperatures are 8 bit signed value ( maybe it was just assumed to be 16 bit ) . The MTH value when read gets placed into an array ...
