Re: [DRIVING] VW Beetle 2003
So since the new inverter I've been having intermittent issues where there's no torque from the motor, it's able to spin in neutral but not enough to move the car without cutting out. It happened extremely intermittently, but over the last few days it's being happening daily. I get stuck at the side...

https://github.com/crasbe/ZombieBuild will help with the VCU firmware building and also OI. Be aware and changes you make could result in unexpected behaviour, obviously.

Re: Zombieverter Updates
Closing this one down now, let's all play nice. It no longer on topic. In Summary, the Wiki is the best place to go first, then check past forum posts and create a new one with specific questions if not answered. To keep up with developments that may make it in to the next release, check GitHub, but...

Re: Zombieverter Updates
It's not made it to a release yet so it makes little sense documenting it on the wiki until it does.
Checking GitHub is ideal for getting an eye on changes that might be released in the near future, if that's of interest.

Re: Foccci wakeup/sleep discussions
Might just do the Damien Maguire method then, normally closed on a relay to AC charger and flip a switch for CCS

Re: Foccci wakeup/sleep discussions
Is focci able to detect the duty of CP and if it's over 5% switch over the CP to the OBC for AC charging?

Re: [WIP] BMW E91 320d 2006
Not updated this thread in a while. Still not finished the battery box, but taken a break from it to start mounting the charge port. IMG_20240403_183546993.jpg Not sure why the photo is upside down, but the mounting is solid, and it'll need to be with CCS cable weights and it mounted sideways. Need ...

Re: [DRIVING] VW Beetle 2003
I had a pair of contactors, Tesla ones, one welded one didn't. The unwelded one appeared to measure fine when closed but under load it was higher resistance. So replaced both now. So on to the cool photos of the inverter igbts IMG_20240324_104701453.jpg IMG_20240323_185512418.jpg Cars back to runnin...

Re: Gen 3 prius inverter only 245 amps
I have throtcur at 4.5, my params are here https://openinverter.org/parameters/view.html?id=30 and once moving I've had phase currents of 450 amps with logs I've taken previously. I do have MG1 and MG2 paralleled though

The gs450h is using OEM control signals. I'm making the Prius inverter do things Toyota would never do with the logic board replacement

Added a poll for you Obviously it's result is legally binding.
If that was close to me, it would be on my drive already.

It usually does, the car has always struggled to get up her drive in reverse, sometimes I could make it up with a bit of a run up, othertimes the hardware protection cut out.

Re: [DRIVING] VW Beetle 2003
I've no idea. Full throttle on the road is fine but on the drive, it didn't have the umph and so was a stalled motor at full throttle maybe the 4.5 throtcur (450a) isn't possible on the motor while it's spinning with the back EMF?

Cars been running great all year, had a weekend away, multiple DCFC and destination charging, faultless.
