Orion 2 BMS with Thunderstruck 2500 charger

Hello all, new here, but hoping to get some good information. I'm doing an ev build and I've got the equipment listed in the subject. The Thunderstruck would normally interface through the EVCC, with J1772 control through the AVC2 module. It looks like the Orion 2 would take the place of both of these devices. For simplicity, I'd rather just use the Orion by itself. Can anyone verify that this would work before I go down this path?
