Does Prius gas pedal contain electronics

The wiki says power it with 5v, but I'm using a 3.3v Teensy.

Does the pedal contain electronics that need 5v, or is just a pair of pots with gnd and vcc across the resistor ?

I can scale the return to 3.3v, but i'd rather not if its not required and i can use 3.3v across it.

Try it. I would for sure have input protection for anything going into a micro controller anyway.

A voltage divider and zener is a good start.

Nope. Re using one I made for the last project. It’s easy with the phev inverter as you only need to send it one number over can.

Also I want to tune the regen and add eco mode and speed limiting etc
