I'm in the US and connecting to an EVSE with J1772 plug. Once I have feedback on this, I'd like to post this in the Wiki...plus confirm that I won't be making any "unintentional spark events" when I assemble this first hand.
If this is accurate as is, great. Then please give me feedback on what I could do to make this easier to understand so I can make it better for the next new guy that comes along in the future.

Could we say with a high probability that the hardware is good to go? I’m willing to be a beta tester on my slave charger, having a good chance I won’t need to update hardware for a full functioning version.Jack Bauer wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 7:47 am Web interface for the v5 using olimex wifi module code uploaded to the repo :

I have updated the webshop to allow purchase of both partial and fully built boards but please note the following disclaimer :
BETA RELEASE FOR DEVELOPERS ONLY! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED / ABLE TO ASSIST WITH TESTING AND DEVELOPMENT! NOT A FINAL PRODUCT!!!
Once we get some testing done this will be removed but for now PLEASE abide by the warning.
Nothing has changed, this is beta hardware and software for developers only;

Im just inquiring about the likelihood of another hardware revision.Kevin Sharpe wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 12:52 pmNothing has changed, this is beta hardware and software for developers only;

Damien will update this forum when he has some news... until that time it's best to leave him alone and wait... you may think it's a minor interruption but he typically receives ~100 similar requests a week.
Can you produce a video showing how you are testing the charger? The EVSE Control Pilot signal should not be at 3V. See this post for description of the EVSE states;
Are you confident the wiring to the EVSE connector is correct? What happens to the voltage on the proximity input at the charger when you plug in the EVSE connector or push the EVSE connector button (if you have one)?

What happens if you test without an EVSE (see here)?
What is your battery voltage measured at the charger?
If you're measuring the pin on the J1772 connector (i.e. not plugged into the charger) then yes this is expected because the EVSE does not supply voltage on the pin.
Nice, I have the Gen 2, but it's not waterproof. So I must have it inside.Kevin Sharpe wrote: ↑Sat Mar 28, 2020 11:24 am Tesla Gen 3 charger working flawlessly in BEXUS this week![]()
I've only seen Gen 3 chargers that are missing the metal cover that sits over the orange power connectors. If this cover includes a seal then everything else looks waterproof.
