3D printed covers for Leaf PDM / Inverter / motor

Post by ianlighting »

Here’s a couple of links to other people’s work they have made publically available. If you’re doing a Leaf based project and taking the motor stack apart these may be useful.

If you find other useful models you want to add, please do add yours aswell.

Windraver made this to cover the hole in the PDM where the busbars normally go down to the inverter. He has an extensive and detailed build page on DIY Electric Car that’s well worth reading.

Jimmy from EV Swap shared this which covers the 3 busbars coming from the motor to the inverter. Think Windraver did the same on his build somewhere aswell. Don’t know which came first or if it’s the same model.

FYI because online services can close, I would suggest to download 3d models ans save here as attachements leaving clear the source and license of the original files

Thanks for the pointer. The previous post suggested the same, but I gave up trying to find the right place for it. I haven’t ventured into wiki editing yet, but when I’m on a pc with some spare time I’ll have a go.
