Intrest and Feedback Request Classic EV gauges

Post by tom91 »

I have a few years back started work on a project to create some EV gauges based a replacement for a "classic Smiths" speedo drive unit.
Just trying to work out if there would be enough intrest to make this a product for purchase. It is designed to work for Mini gauges, Beetle gauges and most other classic Smiths gauges .

The base module would act as the brains and the main speedo and odometer mechanism. This unit can be added to with a "secondary" info screen and rotary encoder with a push button to toggle pages.

At the moment designs are finished for the Mini single big gauge and two smaller clocks.

The classic beetle gauges are not as far along, the Speedo mech just drops in and works.

Anything is do-able, a gauge solution I been working on would probably cost in the region of 300-400 gbp for me to implement for others.
