Zombie + OVMS

Post by Bigpie »

I've written a basic integration for Zomberveter for OVMS, I've done a PR to get it integrated in to the official firmware but for now, if it's of use to anyone else, my fork is here https://github.com/jamiejones85/Open-Ve ... eVerterVCU

I can now remotely monitor my car on the mobile app, OEM style.

Just put OVMS on the same can selected for the ODB2 Can parameter in zombie and away it goes.

Mobile app doesn't yet allow custom vehicle images.

Could you add some OVMS support for the OpenInverter firmware? viewtopic.php?t=5076

WiCAN Pro also looks really promising for running OVMS: https://www.crowdsupply.com/meatpi-elec ... /wican-pro
The upcoming Pro is sort of a combination of a ObdLink adapter with ESP32-S3 (OVMS capable 16MiB SPI version) with enough PSRAM (OVMS need at least 4MiB of PSRAM).

You can if you want, just take what Jamie has done or better yet check if the OI board software can be adjusted to do the same as Zombie.

But what info will you even get out of the OI board that is useful on OVMS?!??
