Foccci CCS2/OBC/Orion BMS wiring diagram
Hello,
I'm planing the integration of the focci module in one of my conversions.
I wasn't able to find a wiring diagram so I made one, if those who have integrated it could correct me if need be, i'll make the updates so it can be usefull for others.
Focci board 4.5a as it is what I have.

This looks good, the only remark from my side is the grounding. I would not route the ground via the Foccci connector, but instead:
- wire the ground for the contactors to a "power ground" point which has a solid connection to battery minus. Do not route this contactor current over the ground of Foccci, because the relative high current (some amps) would lead to a ground shift between Foccci and chassis, which would disturb the analog measurement of CP and PP.
- wire the ground of the charge port temperature sensors directly to Foccci, because this is a sensitive analog measurement ground.
- wire the PE of the charge port to a good chassis ground (this is a path which shall be able to carry some hundred amps in case of a AC-to-chassis shortcut)
- Get the ground for Foccci from the same chassis ground point where the PE is mounted, because the PE is the reference for the CP and PP analog signals, so we do not want ground shifts there.

Updated taking your advice.
I've added a PDF version as well.

Looks good. For the wakeup line I cannot decide, I have no clue what the BMS and OBC expect or provide at this line.

Re: Focci CCS2/OBC/Orion BMS wiring diagram
for the wakeup,
The orion bms expect a 12v when the plug is inserted/ when the bms needs to send the charge commands.
The OBC sends a 12V when the AC is applied.

Thanks for your pdf.
Are you planning to run both AC and DC charging via the same charge inlet using the Orion?

I confirmed that this schematic works. Charged in CCS2 yesterday.
