finally got some time to power up the board and look at the software.

just a silly question is there any recommended default parameters to start off with. i remember the being talking of a lower dead time and wasnt sure where the output for the 32v converter was from.

thought i better check the simple things before i start feeding in high voltage to the drivers

The default of 1us seems to be working well. Apart from that just set snshs to i3. That will also read the voltage from the gate drive board via SPI

As I'm using a car without Can what will I need to do differently?

The board has all relevant traditional inputs so you don't need CAN.

Is there an info or instruction sheet for assembling the board? Is the a GitHub link or anything to follow?

I want to test without using the full battery pack, what voltage do I need to make it spin at all?

I've just popped a video up on my YouTube channel showing me replacing the two boards of anyone is interested. I know most of you are ahead of me but thought it might be interesting.
I'm now looking at the parameters but if anyone else has made a start please could you give any details of what you are setting? I have managed to do the basics like polespairs (6?) Voltage (360?) Snshs to i3 and throtramprpm to 11400?

Just put a solder blob on to the direction of C4 on there.

Also understood now that the resolver always comes in on that red connector, would be neat to be able to plug it right in.

I've bent the backing plate using a socket and vice to give clearance to the board. Is anyone else looking to put the plate on top of the board too?

Putting the bits back together as someone mentioned on here before the board comes into contact with one of the bolt holes from the upper plate. If the small board could be moved 4 or 5 mm towards the edge it would have clearance.

Bugger, I have signs of overheating already on the 6th pin from the right, any ideas?

Why do you think it's overheating? I can just see some excess flux. There is no serious current on any of the pins

I’ve managed to file the upper plate bolt retainer without going through to the thread, hopefully that’s enough clearance

I’ve had to reshape the lid a bit, pushing it out away from the board between the two lines.
