Re: Honda ima and his abilities An old beetle

Hah! That figures! I used Lebowski in sensorless and i guess it is way more sensitive. thenk you for that info. I will test this with HSG and 360Vdc sometime when i assemble Lebowski board again. +1 on this - I have highlighted that in my how-to: https://endless-sphere.com/sphere/threads/yet-anothe...

Re: Honda ima and his abilities An old beetle

I tested the ima inverter at a voltage of 530 volts!! he survived it perfectly. so with sufficient cooling, it will be a real little miracle Crazy, thanks for taking one for the team! What's the max temperature at the heatsink you had it at? I'm keeping it below 50℃ (drilled hole at a corner for NT...

Just had a quick browse in German Lexus forums, they all recommend changing the filter(?) as well.
Also ATF WS if not Toyota's.

Re: Honda ima and his abilities An old beetle

250 volts (60s li-ion battery). 40+ kW of power! the car is 1500 kg! 130 km / h. as a motor, a generator with a Nissan Serena. as a ima inverter. Impressive, that gives me a good bit of headroom with the Lebowski! - currently 155A battery (contactor limited) and 230A phase at 140V: https://endless-...

Re: Lotus Elite + GS450H [WIP]

Well, since you have a "working" (as it turns on) car, there's probably not much harm to try to get CAN logs at various points. My preference would be to work towards a SimpBMS clone, maybe on ESP32, but with the right CAN messages you could maybe transplant the VCU if that was your plan? ...

Don't worry I'm not taking offense but the reason that it's like that is because I have Dysgraphia so what I usually do is type it out then go back over it 2 or 3 times to correct/add punctuation it still won't be perfect but good enough but if I'm rushed it comes out like that Again let me assure ...

Re: Motor and Inverter Selection for SeaDoo

A lot depends on your power needs as well. The Outlander rear could be mechanically simpler and is water cooled (front is oil cooled). Keeping the diff and bracing/locking one side would give you a ~3.5:1 ratio. The original inverter just needs CAN and is good for 96S. Likely overkill, but close to ...

It might not fit your profile with the high voltage, but I have been following OpenSourceLowTech for a while, their wind turbine is now V2.1:

Always wanted to give that a go with a direct drive bike hub motor.

There's very little capacity at those low voltages:

I would avoid discharge below 3.30V/cell, it gets you very little benefit for a lot more wear / reduced cycles, same on the top above 4.10V.

Wow, so you didn't have to modify the spare wheel well at all? I suspect the weight is now similar or even less as you have a relatively small battery and no prop shaft. I would love to see pictures (or is there a write-up somewhere else?) as I have a W201 and am contemplating IS300h vs Outlander RD...

Awesome, do you have some details on the mechanical mounting and driveshaft adaption?
A lot of cars are based on the same or very similar rear subframe & multi-link suspension.

Glad others are struggling with register settings, so not only me. I keep trying. My another strugle with the board is, I am able to get the program running on it and it seems to work fine, but only if usb cable is connected. So it looks like it is not getting powered with 12V. Moin Carsten,
I'd consider the GS/IS/RC300h gearbox (L210) as well, as it's more compact than the 450H one.
The Wiki (e.g. https://openinverter.org/wiki/I_want_a_ ... Conversion) is a good starting point.
