Thank you for quick response.
1. Today the inverter controls the positive contactor (and precharge) and the negative is controlled from ignition button.

Re: Foccci integration with OBCs
What I have done in the past, 1K pull up to 12V then pwm it with a nfet. The Outlander charger finds this fine.
Jamie is running a PWM out from zombie into an outlander charger, which is a gate driver.
Also who is the person asking for this? What charger are they running and what other items are ...

Thank you Johu for moving my post to a more appropriate place.

Hi.
Is it possible to setup an output from foccci to "mirror" the CP input signal to be used to route to OBC?
Since the connectors are already full, I'm thinging if it's possible to use one of the testpoints for this (and patch in cable)?

Hi.
I have a sometimes working PCS.
It refuses to charge sometimes. But when it works I can charge upto 10.5kw
Right now I have an issue that it goes into faulty state after a couple of seconds after I connect the charger.
I can hear the contactor in the charger and then it turns off again.

SOLVED: Re: Tesla LDU board -parameters not saved?
Hi (everyone).
The reason for parameters not saved is due to inverter being in RUN mode.
When I push "stop inverter" button I can now save parameters.
Thank you P.S.Mangelsdorf for pointing this out.

Tesla PCS controller newer FW Version (1.16?)
Hi.
My PCS had version 1.16 (before I "updated" to the latest on git).
Now after update I have 1.01, So I believe there are newer versions available but can't find any.
If anyone have a link or do have I'm happy to receive.

Re: Tesla LDU board -parameters not saved?
1. The first time I was in run mode, another person driving the car and I changed parameters). So I suspected that might be the case and then I rentered when parked and car in neutral.
2. I only use the save parameters to flash button.
I have never seen a message about confirm?

Tesla LDU board -parameters not saved?
Hi all.
I have finally managed to get my motor (and car) running again.
I have today tested some with regen parameters.
I set offthrottle regen to 0% and I set brakeon regen to 70% and then save.
When driving the settings work but next time I start settings are back to default (-40% and -25%)?

Re: LDU parameters to reduce power
Thank you all very much for the input.
tom91: I like the simplicity in this approach. I plan to send some can messages to be able to set different "power levels" and this should be easy.
Others: Will check parameters more for tuning.

LDU parameters to reduce power
Hi.
Can someone please guide me a bit how I can change parameters to decrease power output?
My first idea was to use the current limit but this seems to set the inverter/motor in error state if triggered?
I would like to have the possibility to adjust the power output in a controlled way.
Thanks ...

Re: LDU "False" overcurrent
Some update.
The fault signal is "shorted" (1.8ohm) to ground somewhere on the gate driver board.
The fault signal from the infineon IC is not shorted so it's not routed directly to the connector.
I've managed to get hold of another PCB and this seems to work so fault searching on these boards is ...

I've rebuild a LDU and performed the coolant delete.

Re: Tesla Large Drive Unit (LDU) Motor Teardown and maintenance
I found a drawing (yours?):
ldu_manifold_cap.jpg
Are these the dimensions you used? (you mentioned .005 oversize which would equal 0.127mm so perhaps reduce 55.2 to ~55.1mm)
I have a contact that can help me mill and lathe so I will go and try this.

What do you use for seal material (brownish on the maifold)?
And do you have any drawing or cad file for the plug you like to share?
Or possibly if you can sell a plug?

LDU Coolant delete
Hi.
Anyone that has managed to build / modify the manifold to create a coolant delete?
I'm very interested in this and will probably try to make this but would realy like some input from anyone that has acctually done it (or made any 3D models).
Thanks

I noticed (the day before my motor gone dead) that I lost the DC/DC when I ran slowly over a speed bump which made me wonder if maybe something is loose (in the PCS controller or some connector), your findings points in this direction too. :)

Any ideas what can cause this?

Re: Set charge current on Tesla PCS and PCS controller
I played a bit with the settings and found out that changing the IACLIM value resulted in a rather quick response.
So this seems to be the parameter to look at
If anyone know status of the FW and version please let me know.
The previous version before "upgrade" reported as 1.16 (?)
