Hi.
Anyone that has managed to build / modify the manifold to create a coolant delete?
I'm very interested in this and will probably try to make this but would realy like some input from anyone that has acctually done it (or made any 3D models).
Thanks

Re: LDU Coolant delete
There is a good thread on the facebook group "Tesla Swapped EVs" about this.
It sounds as though everyone is doing the coolant delete now rather than trying to get a new seal to actually seal.

My LDU has the same issue. Pitted shaft.. so I am also eyeing the coolant delete option. The speedi sleeve sounds like another option but I've heard even that wont last...

Re: LDU Coolant delete
I was googling and found this thread that didn't have closure on the 'DIY Coolant Delete' question. https://www.ebay.com/itm/166811720663 is the coolant delete cap I had manufactured after working with a friend on his LDU. It is a pain to get the LDU out of a Tesla subframe, but you see my cap in the 27th minute here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWN2rHy10iI If you can get the manifold out easily, here is all it takes to complete the delete: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsqK5QnV3O8
