Re: Heavy torque cut in low gear GS450h & Zombieverter
For these kind of issues, would it be possible to add a spot value "limitationalReason" to the software, which shows the reason why the torque is limited? This would save a lot of analysis effort from my point of view. Not really as alot of the base parameters need to be set right, but ye...

Where is your zombie mounted? I know too little about your build nor is there very little info on your build on the forum.
Possibly an external wifi antenna for the laptop fixes it.

Leave them as they were at start of thread and change just one of them. UDCmin UDClim and IDCmin IDCmax, please only change one. Start with IDCmax as per BigPie's suggest. Raise it to lets say 500A.

Provide your parameter down load.
Zombie VCU? You need to use the web interface.
You need an ISA Shunt to run the motor and have the Zombie VCU control contactors.
What power supply you using?

Cannot see anything on the pictures. Please makes sure to get the whole screen. Better yet grab screenshot. You also need to say which values are on the left scale and which are on the right.

Re: Heavy torque cut in low gear GS450h & Zombieverter
Do you have anything to manage your battery voltages? How are you charging? From your sale you have a 7 x VW I.D. 3 batteries 12s- 84s "udcmin": 240, "udclim": 380, This yields a max allowed voltage of 380/84 = 4.52V, This is fire territory reduce this to a max of 4.2V per cell. ...

You IDC is going negative...
Guess changing IDCmax does nothing as that would be a positive value.

Re: Heavy torque cut in low gear GS450h & Zombieverter
Please note a bunch of "saftey" checks have been correctly reinstated once I got started on fixing the Zombie coding. Voltage limits and current limits were not working as they should. So your behaviour with the same settings will vary when going to newer code. However this is good as its ...

Re: Simp BMS
No BMS has a method for limiting current. It can only cut off the current using the contactors.
A BMS monitors and gathers data then decides on limits and share this with the vehicle. (Balancing is the only thing it can do on its own of it does not have contactors)

No as in add temp measurement sensors, before and after the inverter. You can already see the "heat" in the inverter. You need to know coolant.

The Hella Sensors, I have a bunch of them. You need to make sure you get the ones meant for caravans/motorhomes as that matches the LIN frames.

Re: Foccci wakeup/sleep discussions
The OBC reduces the power to zero for 10s and unlocks the connector for the same time. Charging just continues after the 10s, if the user does not pull the plug during this time. Interesting, BMW do a similiar things but I believe they actually shut down. You still need a way of getting this info t...

Re: SDU high current consumptions?
Isn't max temp = 85C? Yes so if you park when the inverter is at 50C things wont get hotter. The heat will start to dissipate into the housing. I still recommend measuring the temperature increase across the inverter if you are looking to resolve this, that should show you how much heat is going in...

Re: SDU high current consumptions?
I don't want to damage the inverter so after 50C I park the car. I tried switching to parallel loop and run the pump and fan on my high setpoints when stationary, the inverter temp lineally drops down, but at the rate of ~ 0.25C/sec. Seems slow. Not really bad, the inverter can get a lot hotter. Th...

Re: QCA7000 Foccci+Clara User thread
Is it possible to set up foccci to set a single bit on CAN as 1 if a connector is plugged in, and to 0 if not? Regardless of which type of connector, and regardless of what is going on. The bit would disable the inverter in my car, as per regulations and common sense. I'm not sure what parameter to...

However, when I turn the car on ID 1023 shows me 00, which would indicate reverse. I would expect to see 01 for Neutral. Wrong, neutral is 0 Reverse is -1 forward is 1. Not sure where on the wiki it should be. Turns out offset is not in the web interface for some reason but should be configurable v...

Re: SDU high current consumptions?
Yes your potnom clearly was not reaching full.
Check you cooling loop and ensure its vac filled. The inverter on the SDU is known for having issues with trapping air.
