Looking good, some early shots from the setup.
We even saw the Audi temporarily DCU-powered when we wrapped things up

:
(they had their solar car next to us)
The team, many thanks for donating your time and putting your stuff at risk - we had to chase kids off the Mustang as they were about to climb on the roof!
The other guys did most of the technical talking I assume because I was kept busy with kids climbing on the RF for their picture to be taken and the bigger ones "revving" her. Reverse is speed and power limited, a freewheeling wheel at 160km/h+ when some of the jokers pressed random buttons certainly wakes you up. I'd say about 250 kids between the two days. Some very smart ones, one ~10/11yo even asked about chemistry, efficiency, volts and amps. The mum was keen to support him so he should get the Pi Hut's Raspi micro advent calendar this Christmas based on my recommendation!
We were swamped especially on Sunday and hours fly past. Even without anything else on display we could have used volunteers just to have the conversations. Lessons learned from that:
- "Any guess what we're doing here? - That's right we make all of these fully electric!"
- "What about yourself, any special car or bike in the family?" - not always the guy in the group!
All in all an awesome event and we definitely got some new members for OI! @johu, did you see an influx?
