GasGasless (none open inverter)

Post by Bigpie »

Just a quick post for my little project. Still needs some little clean up jobs doing.

Bike was a 2 stroke, built using mostly off the shelf components. Weight is 41kg, just over half the original.

Runs as 72v nominal, I charge to 83v.

Motor and controller is: http://www.eastgem.net/d7500-k-1.html, claims 15kw peak.

I had a 70t rear sprocket made up, giving a 10:1 reduction.

Much more fun to ride now.

I'm looking to have a crack at a car next.

It's hoot to ride and makes next to no noise so I can ride in places I'm not supposed to without attention. Best of all no more burns from the exhaust when I run out of talent.

That seems to be a remarkably well priced kit - if it weren't for your saying that it does what it says on the tin, I'd actually have said far too good to be true. May have to take a closer look into that one for a couple of projects around here.
