Fuga Hybrid HY51 (Infiniti Q50/Q70) - anyone used the 50kW(?) motor in a project?
I spotted one at a friendly wrecker yesterday so I have the opportunity to nab the motor/battery/controller if I want it.
It's a pancake motor (large diameter, short length) so could fit in places a "normal" motor couldn't. Fits between the longitudinal V6 motor and the 7 speed gearbox.
Anyone have any experience with it?

I've done a bit more research. The motor is a HM34. Although 50kW isn't anything to write home about, the 270Nm max torque is a bonus.
I haven't found out the voltage of the battery pack yet, but it's Lithium Ion and appears to be fairly low voltage.
