I hope some of you will find this useful if you desire to run the stock Prius Gen 3 hybrid component cooling system in your conversions. I was mostly focusing on the hoses here.

here I am attempting to piece together my Toyota Prius Gen 3 hybrid components cooling system, I believe all I am missing is just the one long radiator hose that runs to the top port on the transmission

don't sweat it, what I ended up doin' is flipping the 2x4 skinny radiator around with the hose inlets pointing towards the car rather than away from it, that eliminates the need for the U hose ends, I then used one of the U hose ends on my charger below the rear seat to run a long hose from the water pump to it and then another U end on the front of the transmission to run the hose back from the charger to it, confused? good!

Yep! Mission accomplished!
Are you using the pump to cool both the inverter and charger?
I need to liberate; pump hoses, plugs with pigtails/harness and tiny radiator from my Prius wrecker!

ha ha, liberate away, it was a super smart move to acquirerize a complete donor wrecker !!!

Yes, it's all on one loop. I think it goes coolant reservoir to water pump to charger to transmission to radiator to inverter and back to reservoir, absolutely no logic in that except took that path of least resistance, if I sense some components are running more hotter than others I will fandangle with it then

keep in mind pumps like the PUSH and not PULL fluid, and never, ever, never run them dry

Thanks for the info and really helpful link to wiring etc!

True about pumps... you mount them at the lowest level so that all fluid runs into them when off. When you start them they will give the liquid a boost.

About cooling circuit... you need to put inverter immediately behind radiator, then charger and dcdc and the last one is the motor. That is because all that flimsy electronics have lower temp threshold than your robust motor.
And of course you need fans on your radiator because when stationary charging you need airflow to cool down chargers which are actually the greatest heat producer in the car. Hope it helped any...
