Hello everyone.
I went for my first drive yesterday with a LDU. While I was driving if I pressed the throttle too far, it would immediately cut off power to the motor. It feels very abrupt and feels like hitting a speed bump. Sometimes I need to restart the car, other times I need to come to a stop and power comes back. I'm attaching screen shots of the parameter I'm running. Are there any clues as to what could be causing this?
Thank you
Help! Power lost and motor shutting off.

It cuts out because the throttle leaves the programmed maximum (potmax). So raise it to the value of "pot" you get at full throttle.
Agreed the cutout is kind of harsh.

Hmm, that's strange. I measured the voltage with the pedal fully pressed down to be 3.2 volts. It seems I have it set to a maximum right now of 4 volts? Also, It cuts out well before I can press it all the way down. So I would assume the motor is seeing even less voltage on the pot line.
Does that make sense?

oh you're right.
You can then try raising ocurlim, it is quite conservative at 900A
If it cuts out you can check lasterr for the reason.

Re: Help! Power lost and motor shutting off.
If 900a here means dc battery amps, then I am for sure no where near that amount of current. I'm lightly accelerating when the trip happens.
Reading in the documentation it says that this number should be negative if il1 and il2 are negative. Looking at my spot values, and they are indeed negative. Does that mean I should put it at -900 amps?
I looked through examples of other profiles, and some people have it set to -2500. Wouldn't this mean there is no overcurrent protection, since the motor should only pull 1150 amps?
