I came across this video and found it explains well the difference between how engines make power vs how motors do it. Also he mentions the difference between batteries out of hybrid vehicles vs ones out of 100% electric among other things, hope you enjoy

I'm pretty shocked that the stock battery on a tesla starts to plummet that quickly. I wouldn't've thought the voltage sag would be that substantial so soon. We're talking the entire battery here, and it can't even sustain that amount of power.
It also goes to show that their Pacifica hybrid batteries are pretty lame. They've left a lot of power on the table in the early part of their pulls there compare to stock. I'm guessing that's just not enough voltage? Get your shit together, at least give it stock voltage.
