Hi.
i want to make an EV conversion for a DeLorean using a Tesla Model S rear SDU (1037000-00-F). I plan to use this fancy Openinverter Tesla SDU Drop-In Controller Board.
Now, when the drive unit arrives I would like to test it on the bench BEFORE I rip out the OEM Tesla Controller Board. I just would like to see, if it spins and sounds o.k., to be able to send it back in case it doesn't.
Does anyone know of an easy way to accomplish this?
Searched the forum, saw dozens of "boring" Videos from Damien but this topic wasn't covered so far. Maybe because there is no easy way? Just asking...
greetings to all from a newbie,
Ralf

If there was an easy way to spin the drive units before the swap then you wouldn't need the swap I think all you can do is the power stage check https://openinverter.org/wiki/Electronics_Basics (item 2)
