New here, electronics background, no experience on modifying/converting cars to electric drive.
My question is not directly related to converting a car, but this is the only place I could find some relevant info.
I have a physical limitation, and want to replace the hanging throttle pedal of a Model S Raven with a floor mounted BMW-style throttle.
A floor mounted throttle just works better for me to control.
There is of course the mechanical part of mounting the throttle pedal and the electronic part to get it working.
I found this thread with some info about the Tesla electronics: viewtopic.php?p=20708#p20708
Can somebody tell me if I can swap the Tesla pedal with a BMW pedal 35426859999 (or other type number)?
The BMW pedal is in the Wiki https://www.openinverter.org/wiki/BMW_E ... _Version_2
In both the BMW and Tesla schematics, there are potentiometers. But I don't know if this is correct (maybe hall sensors) and if the linearity of both pedals is the same, so I can swap them one on one electronically.
Any help or feedback would be appreciated!
