BMS for 144 volt system

Post by nikejamie »

Hi guys

I have a Golf that has been converted to electric. We have changed the batteries to 48 LifePO4 cells of 3,2 volts 100ah (approx 15Kw) in series. Where can i find a bms and cell balancers for this configuration?

Secondly can i make 3 banks of 16 cells each (each bank will have it's own charger and balancers) and connect each bank in series.

much blessings

ZEVA BMS?

I am not sure modules will be equalised, one charger could feed too much and one charger too little... You would have to disconnect all your series packs. You would need 3x contactors...
Why not make 2x 24S configuration, that way you will fully use ZEVA modules
