Hi using 2017 leaft stack, inverter PDM and battery I'm also using the service plug does the positive go to the service plug then the current sensor and on to the contactor?
I had someone help me and they have wired up the negative to the service plug also need to check which side to put the HV input to contactors and which side goes to the inverter/PDM
Looking at the pic I have attached bottom contactor is positive and top is negative
Thanks in advance for any help

Re: Help with service plug and contactors
Follow the wiring and you will find out. If you are uncertain about how to wire up your batteries you better learn as if you do it wrong its very dangerous.
It is all very basic, just draw your diagram. Then check it all with a multimeter.
It even has a page on the wiki https://openinverter.org/wiki/Nissan_Le ... harge_Unit

Re: Help with service plug and contactors
Thing is the battery was re configured by someone else and they have wired the negative to the service plug and current sensor so I'm guessing that's why I'm not getting pre charge?
Will take a look tomorrow. Thanks for the info

It does not matter who done it. If you ware working on the system YOU need to know what is going on.

Re: Help with service plug and contactors
Isn't the service disconnect normally in the middle of the battery, to cut the HV into two halfes?

Re: Help with service plug and contactors
After rereading the question I may have an understanding on what you are asking, but then again may have misunderstood.
The service disconnect should be in the middle of the battery cell series as the intended function (in addition to cut the circuit) is to split the voltage down to a safer level considering service. Are we talking about this object seen below?
Now if you you have Leaf battery BMS AND you don't have the service disconnect in the middle of the cell series, you are asking for trouble.
To save you the trouble of asking why, see: Is a Leaf BMS OK with the Battery being split in the wrong place??

As Tom says draw a diagram, then post it on here so we can see what is going on.
