Moog is my last choice for suspension components for reasons like this. The rubber they use is not great. Most of their stuff feels like 60's tech and seems to be stuck. Some of their stuff is newer and better.
Delphi is usually near the top for me.

I so appreciate the feedback and especially the recommendation, often times I read a magnificent rant with no alternative, Googling Delphi rubber thingies now!

The Moog options cost more, they must be better!

You can see the metal surface finish quality difference of the Moog vs the Delphi. Delphi is the easy choice. I'm confident the boots on the Delphi's will be better too.

Copy that, can I ask what grease you used to lube yours up, I bet MOOG will come back and tell me I used the wrong All Purpose grease on their products and that's what caused the premature deterioration !

(ducking) All my stuff has sealed / non-greaseable ball joints. I usually will use a moly grease if there's no other grease in there. If they're sealed they usually last a very long time.

I was recently quoted $1,200 American dollars each to upholster my Smurf bucket seats, (I paid $600 total to have the exact pair done prior to Crowvid) so I went fishing for sum seats at Pick N Pull (pronounced my backyard)

I fingered my best chance for finding some seats for my Big Ass American Truck (BAAT) would be in some Big Ass American Cars (BAACs)

and I must admit, they just don't blow my skirt up, the back rests are just way too bulky and unless you are 5'2" you'll be sittin' way too close the the steering wheel in the chipmunk position

I honestly don't know how them "Can I Speak To Your Supervisor" folks do it ?

Greg, I had mentioned Paul Mangelsdorf who races a 40 Chevy with a LD"U mounted in the rear. I finally remembered to ask him about how he was tweaking his tune to get the car so quick and he replied in this thread: https://openinverter.org/forum/viewtopi ... 688#p89688\
He said he doesn't know if these settings are applicable in the VCU since the work differently than his setup but the only way to know is to check. He also included links to a couple of threads that he had used as a guide to tuning his car and those are included in his post. I've been watching him at Drag Week last couple of years and it's amazing to see him make the week with all the ruies geared toword ICE cars and then run so fast.
