The Zombie contactor control uses an IVT shunt to operate. So you absolutely need an IVT shunt, properly initialised, and sending CAN messages of the voltage on the battery side and the component side of the contactors.

Once that’s set up, with contactors open, you’ll have the battery voltage reading, which will be 300v or whatever, and the component voltage, which will be 0v, displayed on the Zombieverter web ui.

The contactors need to be connected low side to the Zombieverter, and high side to your 12v battery source.

When you press the ignition button, and then the start button, the negative and precharge contactors should close with a loud click. The zombie will watch to see that the component side voltage rises above some predetermined threshold. If the voltage crosses that threshold, the main positive contactor will close and the precharge contactor will open.

Low side means negative, high side positive.
