I tried using a gen3 Prius inverter on an em61 motor to replace a 50hp diesel engine rated at 2700 rpm and 75ft lbs driving a hydraulic pump. im getting 245 ac motor amps as measured by my ut208B clamp meter and 1300 rpm. The 84s battery was at 345 volts and 40 amps. Im looking for the best inverter. Would the em57 inverter have the most amps? I also have a 2013 volt inverter i was thinking about combining igbt for more amps. Im hoping for 750+ ac phase amps.
Heres a video demonstrating 330 dc battery amps
Thoughts? Will em57 do 330 battery amps with open inverter?

Well i tested Volt inverter with Leaf motor EM61, 360Vdc 96S and Lebowski control brain with RLS commutation encoder.
At 100km/h motor would still try to spin the wheels. I managed to drive 180Km/h on OEM gearbox... i had to stop because i felt bad for the motor, not because motor would not want to accelerate more...
In the brain i had phase current set at 500A per phase, but FOC algorithm would not allow that through whole range i assume. On the DC cables i could measure 125kW on acceleration.
Did you managed to drive your motor at more power?
