Foccci EVSE Support Discussion

Post by okiedokie »

Hello,

I was wondering if there are any plans to add support for EVSE operation on the Foccci board, allowing it to be used as an EV charger? I’d love to help by submitting changes to https://github.com/uhi22/ccs32clara to support this! :D

Thanks!

Please forgive me if I am mistaken, but is this a bot message?

Who knows, we will see.
I'm not aware of such activities. I'd propose to create a new repository for this purpose, to avoid ending up in tons of #ifdefs to separate the two use cases.
Just feel free to start, and I think there will be some contributors.

Sounds good, thanks for the reply. I’d love to kickstart this effort on the firmware side, since I’m a bit of a newbie when it comes to designing hardware. I’d really appreciate any support from the community in that area.
