Hello,
I have searched the forum but haven't been able to get a clear answer on this. I am currently building up my Zombieverter connectivity. So far I have -
1. Zombie powers on (12V and ground permanent are connected)
2. Zombie is reading IVT Shunt voltages - so that little system is sorted. My test HV is ~45V.
3. Zombie is reading throttle values on both throttles fine.
4. Contactor ground are all connected to their respective Zombieverter pins.
5. Contactor positive is connected to common 12v+.
I now want to turn on ignition and start in order to close my contactors. No matter how I try, I cannot get T15Stat to go from Off to On.
So, my question - is there any trick here?
Or is it as simple as apply persistent 12V+ to the 'Ignition T15 In' pin (pin 15 on the diagram)?
The only hiccup I have had so far is that I initially thought that the contactors were connected 'high', so I connected the contactors to a common ground, and connected my 12V bench power. All the contactors clattered closed instantly, and I turned it off. If anyone knows if this would have caused any damage please let me know.
Here are my parameters, in case that's relevant. Most oft hem might be nonsense, as I said, I am sort of iteratively connecting things.

Vehicle param needs to be set to classic for ignition to be used. 12V input ignition

Re: ZombieVerter T15Stat stuck off
Hi tom91! Thanks for this, good to know. I have traced the wire for continuity and it seems that pin 15 on my harness has a continuity break. I test 12v on the wire going into the harness, I do not test 12V coming out of the pin into the board. SO I think a new plug in connector is in order.
Your answer is intriguing though. Is there a way to bypass the need for the 12V ignition?

Re: ZombieVerter T15Stat stuck off
OK, I have confirmed that it's the harness header. Powering everything up and connecting directly to the internal ignition pin immediately sends T15Stat to on, and then pressing the momentary start button closes my contactors!
This is yet another data point confirming my suspicion that I need to ask a question publicly in order to answer it in under 30 seconds!
Thanks for the quick reply tom91.
