Any suppliers for Leaf 60kWh battery replacement fuse?

Post by ianlighting »

I don’t know if I’m missing something obvious, but I was hoping, but failing, to find a supplier of the same fuse as used in the Leaf 60kWh battery.

Here’s what mine has -
PEC - 300A
450v
8000A breaking capacity
Model - 2869

I found the supplier from Japan but they don’t appear to list this model number. This is the closest, but it’s double breaking capacity at 16000, and 500V.
https://www.pecj.co.jp/en/fuse/ev/evfp_30.html
Plus I don’t think they sell individual units to people like me.

Hunting eBay I found this…

Might be close, but no tech sheet.

So I just wondered if anyone more used to seeking out these things could give me a pointer? I probably don’t need to be hung up on the same exact thing if that’s unrealistic, but then you descend into thousands of options from the internet everywhere.

Image of the one I have…

Edit - actually I have now found the exact item from a Leaf.

Did you get the whole battery pack with the disconnect?
It should have a fuse in it. Mine did.

yes, that's where the photo came from. Looking for another. But found one last night so im sorted now, although would still be useful info for the future to hear about other people's ways of sourcing in case there was something obvious i was missing.
