I drive a SAIC Maxus EV80 from 2017.
The vehicle is great & simply built, great to tinker with! However, the car only charges at old CCS1 chargers, these tripple chargers with 50kW... and sometimes at Ionity. In other words, only about every 20th charger.
I would love to replace the communication unit of the Maxus, which talks to the CCS stations, with a current version.
As a computer scientist and nerd, my heart jumped for joy when I found the FOCCCI project! Great!
Since a conversion is also associated with CAN adjustments, I wanted to ask if anyone has already had experience with this!?
