a123 systems MBB BMS CAN

Any one have any CAN communication Information for the a123 16s MBB boards? I powered it up and the light blinks and I don't see any can messages. This is the manual but I don't have a dbc file. I Just want to tell them to balance.

All the info you need is contained in that document; you won't see any response from the MBBs until you send a BCM_CMD message at 0x050, ideally at 50 Hz. You'll also need to reset the address for each MBB, as presumably you've acquired these modules used/surplus and they could be set to any ID at this point.

Or far easier, just buy the Thunderstruck MCU, which has built-in support for A123's: https://www.thunderstruck-ev.com/mcu.html

Hi there, has anyone managed to get hold of the .dbc file for these A123 modules?
The A123 document in this thread is awesome but need the .dbc file to integrate with the BMS so we can fully test the module.
Any help anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
