NorTec BT2000 battery tester

I recently bought two of these units:
NorTec BT2000 battery charger/tester, 40V/40A charge/discharge

These units where made for the German military (mostly) for testing their Nicad and Pb batteries.
Both units have different firmware on them but this can easily changed by reprogramming the EPROM to the same version.

I believe some of these units where sold during auctions and was wondering of there are any among users here ?
My plan is to change some of the existing battery profiles to fit lithium batteries by old fashion peekandpoke in the EPROM values

Hi Paul.

I am also owning a BT 2000 for many years and i use them regularly. For example, for the Saft STM Batteries in my Saxo Electrique.....
Now i have a problem with my charger and i hope you can my help me.
One of the programs are failing. The Standard program Charge PB Batterie doesn't control the Amps in the U Ladephase. SRY I speak German.
It goes strait to 40A and stops the Program immediately. The rest of the Programs are working fine. So I think that the Eprom have lost some of its Information. Like they do in the very first ECU*s from the Motorcontroller in the PSA Electrique Cars.
Maybe you can send me the file for the Eprom and i can flash my Eprom.... or something else. Im happy for anything....

I am also using the BT 2000 and it works fine, no charging errors noticed for almost a year now. If you are experiencing a recent failure that has worked well for years, could it be that your battery is old and needs to be replaced?
