Zombie in stock Leaf gen2

Post by geduxaz »

Hi experts!
Have gen2 leaf for tests. Removed VCU and tried to install Zombie. Got ignition, throttle, contactors working. But cant get EV CAN see inverter. If bypass leaf wiring and connect Zombie CAN1 to inverter directly, i can get car moving.
Maybe some other EV CAN bus module is spamming can network and Zombie cant comunicate with inverter?
Can Leaf battery be in the same HV EV can network?
I believe only conditioner compresor is left in same CAN network, will try to unplug it....

What i tried:
Pdm disconnected,
HV batt 12V fuses removed to kill battery can,
M/C relay not connected to disable power for some components.

The Zombie also mimics the HV battery CAN messages that the inverter wants. This wil cause conflicts.

Would be nice to have posibity to use stock Leaf batt pack..
I also thought that i did disconnect all 12V power for HV batt, only used contactors to get HV to inverter.. will need to investigate if i get can messages from HV batt pack...

Or i should take source code and remove some messages to allow battery comunication?
