Maintain Tesla Gen2/3 OBC firmware

Post by johu »

It looks like since I stopped maintaining said firmware no one ever picked up on it. Janosch did some refactoring and added tests.

It could use a libopeninv upgrade to latest to support the Wifi/CAN dongle to give one example.

So who here uses a Tesla charger and thinks they are up to the task?

We could re-open a charger support thread and I am happy to discuss answers there for a start, so you don't have to get too involved in everyday requests.

For maintenance of the code I wouldn't set out on greenfield development, but if the same problem comes up over and over again I might be able to lend a hand.

Hi guys. Can you confirm whether the latest version of the Tesla Gen2/3 OBC firmware is 1.17R?
