Hello,
it seems, like a lot of people have severe issues with the AC chargers, installed in the Maxus V80 Transporters.
There is no more support of these AC converters, formerly produced by Valeo.
In addition, most of these transporter don´t have a battery heating or a proper working battery management.
I like the idea of replacing the installed technique by an "opensource" project.
As I am convienced, that I am not the first one I would like to aks wether somebody has already got some experience?

Re: Maxus / LDV Transporter issues
You're speaking of the Maxus/LDV EV80 ?
I have the cab/chassis version (possibly the only one in New Zealand)
The only problems I've had so far is incompatibility with many of the public fast chargers here (limiting how far I can venture from home base), along with incompatibility with my Tesla AC EVSE unit.

Re: Maxus / LDV Transporter issues
I repair hundreds of these Valeo chargers. If you can arrange for their delivery to Hungary, I will send them back tested in 3-4 days, with a half-year warranty. Although sometimes it goes faster...
