Due to ill health and not getting any younger I have decided its time to stop crawling under cars.
I am selling my ex- 1.4 litre Alfa Romeo Mito Sprint 2011 which is 85% complete as an EV.
Fitted with Tesla Model X (P100D) SDU using bespoke design stainless carrier.
Has bespoke drive shaft adaptors, machined locally by engineering shop (not tested as yet), new discs, new pads, bearings, uprated bearing carriers and new bearings from 1.6 diesel plus other parts.
Have fitted an electric external oil pump with cooler and filter, internal pump removed.
Fitted oil cooler as radiator for cooling antifreeze and electric pump.
Rear mounted bespoke stainless battery box contains 5s2p Volvo XC90 type modules giving 330v @ 60Ahr. Modules sell for £150-200 ea !
Contactors, fuses, precharge and Brusa charger all fitted in battery box. Charging cable included too.
All the above without cutting, drilling or welding chassis, DVLA will be sooooo happy
Along with the car will be all cables, HV, etc, HV type water heater, vac pump and as musch as I can find as a package.
Should not take long to finish project I guess.
Car has not been run under power but SDU was previously running in my Smart car (see Avatar) before I decided I wanted something more practical.
